Interview with Aria Grace

Published 2018-07-12.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
More Than Friends was the first real "book" I wrote. It started off as a scene that kept growing and developing until I had something I thought people might like. That was intended to be a standalone and it took over a year for me to realize I could write a sequel. That was the real beginning of my writing career.
What is your writing process?
I'm a pantser to the nth degree. I basically start off with a single scene or idea in my head. Then I come up with the title and cover...and those drive the rest of the book. It's a bit of the tail wagging the dog process but it works for me.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The first chapter book that I carried around with me and couldn't stop reading until it was done was a Paddington Bear book. I remember taking a train from Northern California to Southern California and being so proud of myself for finishing a "whole book" on the ride. And I haven't stopped reading since...
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I read from the kindle app on my ipad mini. If I'm listening to an audiobook, it's usually in my car from my phone. Never connected to my car's bluetooth because I wouldn't want my steamy books to start playing when I have guests in the car. LOL.
Describe your desk
The sofa. I'm terrible about ergonomics. I prefer being curled up on the couch with my laptop to any other 'desk-like location' in the house.

To his surprise, Brett was a great guy that was easy to get along with and seemed to enjoy his company. When Mike learned that Brett was gay, it was more than a shock.
