Interview with Eric Johnson
Published 2023-01-10.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I don't think Have Spacesuit, Will Travel was my first real book, but I do remember it influencing me to read science fiction
How do you approach cover design?
I usually try to catch the mood of the book and how it comes together, sort of priming the reader of what's to come.
What do you read for pleasure?
I read a mixture of nonfiction, military science fiction, science fiction, action and adventure, steampunk, and some other genres to keep me going
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
So far I've been using Written Word Media. While expensive in a way, it's also giving me sales, which is nice
