What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It is neither the joy, the wonder of discovery, nor the simple act of being heard and understood, but the sum which exceeds the parts, to be a conduit for the collected gems of nature, turned in the sunlit hand, and the glinting childlike joy of appreciating such divine gifts in the eyes of another. Thou they may not be seen, those eyes are surely felt, not so much in the reading, but with full anticipation, in the creative act of written expression.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Kudos. Your mission is an inspired service to writers. As C.S. Lewis said, we write to know that we are not alone. We live in a hyper connected, yet often lonely, digital age. Praise be that we can make use of that challenge by grasping the opportunity to share, be it no locally with our soul tribe. We write that our words may reach the Heaven of another's heart.
