What do you read for pleasure?
I tend to read in the same genre I write... or maybe it's the other way around.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I have a Kindle, Nook and an iPad!
What book marketing techniques have been most effective for you?
I have a website, and I use FB a lot. I'm trying other avenues, but it's a trial and error process.
Describe your desk
It's is my laptop, monitor, printer and notepad.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the middle of the US... the way it influences is that I try to use real settings. Places, cities, streets.... I use real places.
When did you first start writing?
May 2009
What's the story behind your latest book?
If I answer this today, tomorrow it will no longer be accurate. Count on a lot of emotion and a roller coaster.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
2 years of making my readers wait while I tried to publish the traditional way.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
SW is a good platform and I believe has a lot of good tools for indie authors. It's a great way to distribute to multiple platforms with less work.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The best part for me is when my stories and character touch someone... I make a connection with my readers.
What do your fans mean to you?
Absolutely EVERYTHING!
