Published 2022-08-29.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in the village Mpheni, under small town called Elim. Firstly, I would like to thank myself for not giving up in my dreams, although the challenges were there. It was more like birth in pain.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing in 2016.
What motivated you to become an author?
Challenges that we as young people face, we sometimes struggle to reveal ourselves because of the situation we're in at the time.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote? What was it about?
Yes. It was about a young man who was left alone after the death of his parents, he was lonely with no shoulder to cry on or someone who can help him out with school uniform and food. He even thought of ending his life because nobody cares about his feelings, at least if parents were there at the time but it was unfortunately too late for that.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Is to reveal the hidden truth. And understand that not all situation is meant for you, some situations becomes a light for you to see the bright and the great in future.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Frankenstein and the monster.
What are your five favourite books, and why?
Frankstein and the monster
Romeo and Juliet
Nothing but the truth
Criminal
Pathways to a greater success
What do your readers mean to you?
They mean the world, without them, I am nothing.
What is your book about?
It is about an energetic woman who didn't enjoy the inheritance she was left with by her late husband. She trusted the wrong people thinking maybe they care, until she saw the truth behind the closed door to them.
What do you think readers will love about your book?
It teaches more about humanity and understanding that we as people need one another.
