Interview with Atmos

Published 2023-03-06.
What are you working on next?
I am focusing on an instrumental orchestral folk EP titled 'Highlands' next. 'Highlands' is a five-track instrumental EP inspired by Iceland, Icelandic folk music, orchestral music, and fantasy literature. Throughout the EP is a narrative portrayed by a foundation of acoustic guitar layered with piano, violin, cello, vocals, drums, and percussion. Influences from contemporary and classical styles of music enabled Atmos to create a series of unique, diverse and interesting compositions.
Who are your favorite authors?
Some of my favourite authors include Matthieu Ricard, Alan Watts, and Julia Cameron.
How do you discover the eBooks you read?
I usually discover new eBooks through recommendations from people I know or from books referenced in a book I am already reading.
How do you approach cover design?
I approach cover design in a controversial way. I like textless covers on my books and music releases because it adds a sense of mystery to the work and invites further exploration. I think a great piece of visual imagery can be powerful without the inclusion of text obscuring it.
