Describe your desk
computer, note pad and a cute pen holder. Most times I bring a cup of coffee beside my mouse.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The Scarlet Series just came about on a laid back day and i just thought "what would happen if disaster suddenly strikes. what would happen if everything we think is normal turns out to have untold dark secrets behind them" and that's how I started this urban paranormal story.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My imagination. I could have an entire lifetime of its own going on in my head and have all the beginnings and endings and feelings associated with this imaginary existence, that's how I started just penning them down instead.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smash words has given me the boldness to go ahead and publish my own work. I know that my work is between me and my reader and that is a good feeling really, because as much as I appreciate traditional publishers I don't think it should entirely be up to a set of people to determine whether potential readers should give a story a try or not.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Finishing a story. The beginning is great, the middle is hard and when I get to the end I know what I have encountered along the way and its a joy to finally put hat final fullstop with a smile on my face.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
To see what the new day is bringing, whether its one of those days you wish you had just stayed in bed or a day that feels like someone in heaven remembered to answer your prayers.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. In that story I was almost eaten by a crocodile. My English teacher bragged about it for months.
What is your writing process?
I don't plan, I just start with a thought or a sentence and start from there.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
The firs story I ever read that made me a bookworm I read when I was in 6th grade, I don't remember that tittle. But the story ended in a cliffhanger and I remember how devastated I was because I really wanted to know what was going to happen next.
