Smashwords Interview

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I'm pretty much of a try anything kind of guy. I do enjoy playing games on the console or PC, a touch of cross-stitch which is surprisingly very relaxing. Beyond that, I dabble in landscape photography, filmmaking and reading.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Aside from Smashwords, word of mouth. I always review, it really helps the author.

  • Artan's Night on Aug. 23, 2012

Artan's Night follows the tale of a young man desperately trying to raise the money to pay for medicine for a sick relative. He uses unusual means to obtain that money and thing turn awry very quickly when he is accused of cheating and some unexpected visitors come calling. This story gives us a brief foresight, although not a full one, into the upcoming novel Eladria. It gives us a hint at what's to come and introduces us briefly to the world Mackay has created. His writing style is wonderful especially his character interplay and their emotions. I look forward to the release of Eladria, I will definitely read it, since this short has piqued my interest.
