Smashwords Interview

Who are your favorite authors?
By far my most favorite author would have to be Tolkien. I love his work. It's just so amazing how he created such a massive universe. I'm always awed when I read his books. I think Frank Herbert's Dune books are really amazing as well. Edgar Rice Burroughs is fabulous. Michael Moorcock, George R.R. Martin, and Simon R. Green would be some others. I just really enjoy great science fiction/fantasy.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
When I get up and the sun is shining and I don't have too many aches and pains, then it's a good day for writing. Even if I get up and it's not sunny and I do have aches and pains, it's a good day for writing. Bottom line - the love of writing!
