I’m a slow reader but I finished “In God we Trust” in record time. The story grabbed me by the throat from the first page and didn’t let go until the exciting finish. Along the way I felt as if I were on an international journey of discovery. The author, Mike Wells, is skilled at brining his characters to life. They seem real; especially the heroin: Elaine. Towards the end I found myself rooting for her as I flipped the pages electronically. The meticulous pen portraits of exotic scenes in Sofia, Moscow and Milan, were most satisfying. “In God we Trust” is an entertaining novel and I recommend it without any reservations. I can’t wait for Mike Wells’ next creation.
